Old Man Crunchy, one of the few guys who left a good life in the military to become a dirt poor folk musician. Some say, "He's crazy," and others think so for other reasons. Mentioned in many of his songs, it's a pretty good time being poor and trying to make a living playing Folk music. "The adventure and the people you meet... that's what writes the songs. The melody came from my guitar Skunk; I'm just singing."

Crunchy had dreams of joining his brother's band Mamzer's Dream after he turned 18. Unfortunately, the band broke up before he had the chance. However, Crunchy decided to take up the challenge of being in a punk band until the age of 22. Traveling until then made it difficult to settle and write music. Some success was brought to light through lyric writing, but hardly any progression as a band.

Crunchy moved to Oklahoma after 2 years across the pond and discovered folk music. With the inspiration of Todd Snider, Robert Earl Keen, Folking Tony, Nathaniel Rateliff, and many more, he figured riding solo as a folk singer was the easiest and best thing for him to do as a musician.

Crunchy is currently traveling and writing more songs about his adventures. As he likes to put it, "My songs are like my own bibliography. There's some crap you don't wanna hear, it might be funny, some were funny if you were there, but we've all done it... except running and pissing backwards. I did that first. [Blues On Route 44 - All About Who You Know]"
